New Name: Staff Forum 2022
Staff Forum (formerly Fall Forum) highlights operational content for pool staff and brings staff together to build community.
The new name reflects both the operational content and the audience of pool staff (claims, underwriting, risk management, finance, technology, general counsel and more) and those interested in developing stronger relationships with pool staff like QEI Patrons and governing body members.
New Format: Pool-to-Pool Collaboration
Participants will engage in active, collaborative learning (roundtables, workshops, scenarios, tabletop exercises and lectures) around pool-specific content.
In this new format, participants can expect:
- Sessions that encourage problem-solving and collaboration
- An environment where pooling professionals can exchange ideas and views on issues that affect their day-to-day work
- Opportunities for newer pool staff to learn from experienced pooling professionals
- More time for structured and unstructured networking
To be ready for active learning and the advanced nature of some content, we recommend that attendees with less than three years of experience in pooling complete all modules of Pooling Basics (accessed through Pooling Academy) prior to attending.
