Staff Institute 2026 | Oct. 4–6 in Minneapolis, MN

Staff Institute is a newly designed conference for people in all staffing roles to build practical skills, share real-world solutions and address challenges pools face today.

Choose one of two learning experiences based on your role and goals:

Open Sessions: Explore loss trends, member needs and emerging issues in concurrent sessions and roundtable exchanges. Build pooling knowledge, connect with peers and expand critical thinking skills.

Residency Experience: Pool executives and senior staff can enroll in 2.5 days of immersive professional development, facilitated by AGRiP Resident Juliet Funt. During this dedicated time with fellow pool leaders, learn how to clarify pool and individual priorities, practice a reductive mindset, terminate legacy systems and workflows, and develop plans that reduce operational friction and improve member-focused outcomes.

Materials from our annual in-person delivery of this popular course will help you understand how pooling varies from the private insurance industry and gain a baseline understanding of core pool operations. (An online version of this course is also available through Pooling Academy.)
