Edward Esquivel is currently the Deputy Executive Director for TML Health, an intergovernmental health benefits pool for municipalities and political subdivisions in Texas. At TML Health, he is responsible for business operations and supporting strategic objectives established by the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees. For more than 23 years, Edward has been a leader in state healthcare in Texas. He led operations teams with other health plan organizations before his role at TML Health, such as the Texas Medicaid Program, Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS), and Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS).
Edward earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Leadership from Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio Texas with a focus on transformational leadership. He also holds a master’s degree in business and is a proud alumnus of Texas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology.
Edward is married and has three children. When not working or sharing life with family, Edward plays guitar and can sometimes be found playing in a public venue.
