How to Make the Most of Your AGRiP Membership

We know that every pool is unique and looks to AGRiP for different support. Here are a few resources our members tell us are most useful. Many of these services are available only to members and once logged into AGRiP’s website.

  • Access interactive, online learning that’s uniquely created by AGRiP for public entity pools through Pooling Academy. Courses include timely topics like prioritizing cyber risk management for members, financial reporting and data management, continuity planning and more.

  • Enroll your new hires and governing body members in Pooling Basics, available any time through Pooling Academy or once a year in person at Governance Conference. This highly-rated curriculum provides a comprehensive review of key pool operational and governance areas and how they work together.

  • Use the Cybrary to learn about projects and programs by other pools, and how pools communicate information to their members. The Cybrary is a custom Google search that shows results only from AGRiP member pools, associations and leagues, regulatory agencies, and other trusted sources.

  • Review resources from AGRiP residencies, including comprehensive pool-specific guides on topics like succession planning, digital transformation, inclusion and more.

  • Bounce ideas off other AGRiP members via email using our role-based and topic-based discussion forums.

  • Access our Financial Benchmarking Initiative (FBI), which is an at-a-glance aggregate of financial results from member pools you can use as a point of comparison when evaluating your pool’s financial performance.

  • AGRiP Recognition is a set of standards and a self-assessment tool to examine your pool’s policies against industry best practices and procedures.

  • Reach people already passionate about pooling when you post your job openings and RFPs on the AGRiP website.

  • AGRiP webinars are offered quarterly, but are always available on demand when and where you need them.
