Member Pools Earned AGRiP Recognition in 2025

Multiple member pools earned AGRiP Recognition in 2025 and will be acknowledged at Governance Conference for their achievement.

AGRiP Recognition is a framework for pools to conduct a thorough self-assessment against established industry best practices, or Advisory Standards. Achieving Recognition indicates a pool’s commitment to operating with excellence.

The following pools earned Recognition last year:

  • Arizona School Alliance for Workers' Compensation
  • Arizona School Risk Retention Trust
  • Property & Casualty Coverage for Education (Oregon)
  • Schools Insurance Group (California)
  • Special Districts Insurance Services Trust (Oregon)
  • Texas Association of School Boards Risk Management Fund
  • Texas Council Risk Management Fund
  • Washington Cities Insurance Authority
  • Washington Schools Risk Management Pool
  • Water and Sewer Risk Management Pool (Washington)

The Advisory Standards are based on many years of industry knowledge and insights but also reflect current pool operating norms. We encourage all pools to become familiar with Advisory Standards as current best practices. Regardless of whether a pool applies for Recognition, the standards provide an opportunity to identify operational strengths and weaknesses and learn from pooling peers.

Contact Claire Torza to learn more about the Advisory Standards for Recognition or joining the Membership Practices Committee, the group responsible for reviewing and implementing new standards, developing sample materials and conducting peer reviews of Recognition applications.
