CEO and Senior Staff Institute 2025 is August 3–6 in Chicago. Join your pooling peers in the Windy City to develop perspective about leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) for your pool’s business and operational practices, member services and productivity.

CEO Institute is a small and conversational learning environment for senior pool staff and emerging leaders. Attendees openly share ideas, deepen peer relationships and work together to innovate pool practices.

You will:

  • Gain eye-opening perspective into the impact AI will have on your pool
  • Understand whether, when and how to pursue AI implementations
  • Learn about foundational technology and data requirements necessary for AI to be successfully implemented, and consider key issues like cybersecurity, ethics and intellectual property ownership
  • Know what to talk about with service providers implementing AI to support pool operations
  • Consider how to educate pool governing body members for effective decisions about AI priorities and funding
  • Meet people from other pools with shared perspectives, problems and ideas
  • Brainstorm how to improve AI implementation efforts
  • Ask questions and explore AI concepts in a safe space with others who understand your needs, priorities and limitations

Who Should Attend

CEO Institute is for top pool executives, senior leaders or department heads, and emerging leaders identified by your pool. The conference encourages learning from and sharing ideas with other pooling professionals. The content and format of CEO Institute is generally not appropriate for pool governing body members.

Registration is open to people from AGRiP member and non-member pools. Guest registration for friends or family members traveling with attendees is also available for an additional fee. See Registration and Pricing below.

At CEO Institute, you will participate in small group work and open discussions about pool processes, priorities and operational practices.

  • Collaborate to imagine different AI scenarios, spot early signs of change, and develop strategies for success.
  • Wrap up the day with a group dinner and improv comedy show at iO Chicago.

Tuesday, August 5

  • Learn the essential technology and data considerations for AI.
  • Delve into critical AI topics like cybersecurity, intellectual property and ethics.
  • Participate in roundtable discussions to share insights and solve problems.

Wednesday, August 6

  • Examine the most important issues, conversations and contractual provisions as service providers begin using AI for pool work.
  • Develop strategies for your pool’s governing body to effectively understand AI adoption.

Registration Fees

  • $1,095 for AGRiP members through June 23 ($1,195 starting June 24)
  • $1,525 for non-members through June 23 ($1,625 starting June 24)

Guest Registration and Pricing

Guest registration is available for traveling companions of registered attendees, not for business colleagues who are otherwise eligible to attend the conference.

Guest registration is required for a guest to attend meals and social events. Guests are not eligible to participate in educational programming.

Our pricing for guest registration reflects only the direct cost of food and beverage (no additional fees included):

  • $470 guest breakfast and lunch package (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches)
  • $165 guest Sunday welcome reception
  • $150 guest Monday night dinner and improv comedy show at iO Chicago

Cancellation Fee

Registration cancellations received on or before July 7, 2025 will be assessed a $100 administrative fee. Because AGRiP pays venue and related event expenses based upon projected attendance, refunds will not be given for cancellations received after July 7, 2025, or for no-shows.
