New Mexico County Insurance Authority Pool (NMCIA) is seeking a Government Relations Specialist. Minimum skills include an Associate degree in business administration or related field. Three (3) years of work experience in state or federal advocacy and public policy. Substitutions and/or exceptions for the required education and experience may be considered and authorized by NMC management. Provides key executive support for NMC’s legislative programs, grant programs, and collaborative partnerships. Performs a variety of duties related to state and federal advocacy; legislative platform development; grant program management; collaborative initiatives with federal, state, and local governments, private sector, and public interest groups. Excellent benefits package. Office located in Santa Fe. This is a hybrid work position with some flexibility.
