Risk Control Specialist - Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (Hybrid)

  

The Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency (CIRSA) has an opening for a traveling Risk Control Specialist covering multiple areas of Colorado. This hybrid “work-from-home/office” position will need to reside/relocate in the Greater Denver, Metro Area of Colorado. Other residential areas of Colorado may be considered.

Under the direction of the Risk Control Supervisor and Risk Control Manager, the position is responsible for safety, risk management, environmental, and health guidance, general consultation, program audits, and infrastructure and property surveys for municipal governments that are CIRSA members. Training development and delivery may be required periodically, such as webinars, classroom, and hands-on safety and health training.

The position will be expected to travel regularly throughout the year, sometimes as much as 3-4 days per week, with overnight stays expected. While this position will primarily service areas within 2-3 hours of Denver, travel throughout all regions of Colorado and in all weather conditions will be required. A CIRSA vehicle will be assigned for travel.
