An individual unaffiliated with AGRiP or its members has recently been posting inappropriate content on LinkedIn while tagging AGRiP and, in some cases, others in our community. This individual is not connected to AGRiP, and the content being shared does not reflect the association or our values.
We have temporarily turned off comments on our posts and reported the behavior to LinkedIn. We encourage all LinkedIn users (including individuals and organizations) to monitor their pages and posts for inappropriate comments or tags.
If You Experience an Inappropriate or Unknown Tag
LinkedIn recommends that you do not engage with the individual or their content in any way, even if the content is inappropriate.
- Do not respond to posts or tags, even on your own profile.
- Remove any tags or posts involving you that the individual creates.
- Block the user if possible (your ability to do so may depend on your account or page settings).
- Report the user and their behavior directly through LinkedIn if you are tagged or if content appears on your profile or page.
How to Report on LinkedIn
- Select the More or ••• menu next to the post, comment, message or profile.
- Choose Report or Report / Block.
- Follow the prompts to submit the report.
