AGRiP’s mission is to ensure public entity pools are effective, collaborative and informed. That’s why, in addition to hosting our own conferences, webinars and other events, we actively support and contribute to other industry associations’ educational opportunities.

We routinely offer input about relevant content, recommend and guide presentations and speakers, and provide educational sessions at industry partner events.

• CAJPA (California Association of Joint Powers Authorities) is a professional association of pools in California. AGRiP and CAJPA have a longstanding, mutually supportive and formalized relationship. CAJPA also partners with AGRiP in Pooling Academy. Look for AGRiP at CAJPA’s Spring Summit and Annual Conference.
• CAIR (Canadian Association of Insurance Reciprocals) supports several pools throughout Canada, including those serving local public entities. AGRiP regularly attends CAIR’s Annual Members’ Meeting, as well as educational events for reciprocal governing body directors.
• NLC RISC (National League of Cities Risk Information Sharing Consortium) is a group of pools supported by state leagues. AGRiP and RISC have a long history of collaboration, with AGRiP frequently attending RISC events. RISC is another key partner in Pooling Academy.
• PRIMA (Public Risk Management Association) is a professional association for public sector risk managers. AGRiP participates in PRIMA’s conference planning committee to identify beneficial education for pools, and we regularly present at PRIMA’s Annual Conference.
