AI Experimentation by Pools and AGRiP

Following our January survey about pool AI use, we held a meeting about AI experimentation with 200 people from 80 pools.

There is no area of AI implementation most prevalent among pools. What is clear is the immediate need for pools to:

  1. Implement an AI use policy. Protect pool assets by sharing guidance about allowable AI use. Adopt an initial AI use policy right away and update it as your pool’s AI work expands.

  2. Inventory AI used by pool service providers. Your service providers may already be using AI to support pool operations and might have AI valuable resources available to you. Start asking questions to understand where and how AI supports are already being used for your operations.

Use our AI Readiness Assessment to understand how your pool can prepare for AI implementations and impacts, and visit our AI Resources Page for ongoing updates and information sharing.

We also shared AGRiP’s AI roadmap for 2025, highlighting where and how AI will directly influence member programs, services and education. Our curation and publication of pool-to-pool information using AI enabled sharing will be of benefit to the entire membership.

To stay up-to-date with our efforts, read eNews, talk with your pool’s top executive or contact us with questions.
