WSRMP is a member-owned and member-governed risk pool for public school districts in Washington State. We are seeking an experienced Claims Consultant who will administer and resolve high complexity school law, property, and casualty claims.
The Claims Consultant is responsible for managing and resolving complex property and casualty claims, including high-exposure and school law-related matters, from initial review through final resolution. This role evaluates coverage, conducts investigations, manages litigation, and negotiates settlements while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Serving as a trusted resource to member districts and internal teams, the Claims Consultant provides guidance, delivers training, and supports risk management and prevention efforts. The position requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including legal counsel, district personnel, and external partners.
