The Miami Valley Risk Management Association (MVMRA) is seeking a Loss Control Manager. MVRMA is a consortium of 21 municipalities in southwest Ohio (Cincinnati/Dayton metros) that provides property, casualty and liability coverage and loss control services.
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Loss Control Manager plans, directs, manages, and oversees the association’s risk management and loss control functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for local government combined with experience working in the risk management field. Responsibilities include management of risk/loss control on behalf of member communities; coordination of annual best practices assessments; onsite risk assessment of member’s facilities/programs; evaluation of prospective new members; and planning/coordinating training programs.
