Rebecca Ryan Joins AGRiP as Resident Futurist
Futurist, consultant and author Rebecca Ryan has joined AGRiP as Resident Futurist. Ryan will be working with AGRiP under a two-year engagement to:

  • Build strategic foresight skills within member pools
  • Help members consider and model influences likely to impact public risk and pooling operations
  • Bring a future-forward mindset to pooling conversations

Member pools will have access to Rebecca as Resident Futurist at AGRiP conference events and webinars, through dedicated training as part of the 2016 CEO & Senior Staff Institute, and via articles and materials published by AGRiP. We are excited to explore other futuring opportunities with members and Rebecca as the relationship progresses.
AGRiP's goal is to energize the power of pooling, making member organizations more effective, collaborative and informed. "We are thrilled to have Rebecca partner with us. Public entity risk pools exist to balance complex risk issues, and strategic foresight enables us to do so in a more proactive way," says Ann Gergen, AGRiP Executive Director.
Rebecca Ryan is the founder of NEXT Generation Consulting and serves as a futurist for the Alliance for Innovation and as Senior Advisor at the Governing Institute. She is the author of The Next Big Things: The Future of Local Government, ReGeneration: A Manifesto for America's Future Leaders, and Live First, Work Second: Getting Inside the Head of the Next Generation.
