The Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRiP) has an exciting opportunity for a public entity pooling professional who wants to impact the future of government risk pools. As AGRiP’s Director of Programs & Services, you’ll expand your influence on public entity pools by developing tools and programs that will support an array of operations, while working in a flexible and remote environment.
When we say AGRiP energizes the power of pooling, we’re thinking about the collaborative programs and services pools develop together to make the entire industry better. The Director of Programs & Services will launch and manage a one-of-a-kind financial benchmarking tool, develop best practice standards for pools to measure operations, help pool governing bodies manage retirements and recruitment efforts, and identify thought leaders who can help make pooling even stronger.
The Director of Programs & Services is ideal for someone who has been working in public entity pooling for 3-5 years and is ready to expand their scope, or who is more experienced and wants to focus on cross-pool projects to inspire the industry. To be effective in this role you’ll need to be an enthusiastic champion for public entity pools and able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
AGRiP values critical-thinking, innovative ideas, quick learners, people who challenge status-quo mentality, the ability to work collaboratively and iteratively, and effective communicators. We have an energetic, creative team that has developed tremendous affinity with 220 member pools and over 100 industry partners in North America and Australia.
