AI Resources for Pools

Exclusive Access to AI Learning Hub for AGRiP Members

AGRiP members can now purchase specialized AI learning at a 15 percent discount and greatly reduced pricing for teams.

AI learning available from Sidecar includes asynchronous courses, videos and articles on topics like prompt engineering, AI agents, AI in marketing and member communications, data and AI, and more. There’s also an integrated online community where you can access additional recordings, ask questions and learn from others.

Courses and content are appropriate for all pooling staff to learn how AI can be used to support the member-focused work of pools. This isn’t the spot to learn about AI for claims or underwriting, but it is a useful introduction to boost your team’s understanding of AI.

We recommend the Professional Learning Hub at $339/year for AGRiP members ($399 regular price).

AGRiP members can also enroll their entire team for one-year access to the Professional Learning Hub at significantly discounted pricing:

1-10 people         $1,000

11-20 people      $2,000

21-40 people      $4,000

41-70 people      $8,000

71+ people           $10,000

Regular pricing for this access is $30,000 for organizations with revenue of $50M.

Visit the AGRiP enrollment page to purchase access and start learning.

What is AI?

Artificial intelligence refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn like humans. From automating routine tasks to providing advanced data analytics, AI will revolutionize how pools operate and make decisions.

AI is not a single software, tool or “thing.” We approach AI as the powerful combination of deep data resources, unprecedented computing power, and robust connectivity available in today’s technology-enabled environment.

Why is AI important for the pooling community?
AI offers numerous benefits, including improved risk management focus, opportunities to improve underwriting and claims processes, more effective member services and engagement initiatives, better decision-making, and increased operational efficiencies. By staying up to date on AI advancements, our community can leverage these technologies to better serve and engage public entity members, and reduce loss and operational costs.

New to AI? Consider these tips as you begin exploring AI chatbots.

You’ve probably heard about the increasing availability of AI chatbots. Chatbots aren’t the only AI tool that might be useful to explore, but are an ideal starting point for those interested in learning more.

You can begin incorporating AI chatbots into your daily work life to:

  • Proofread, paraphrase and summarize large amounts of information from within documents

  • Compose a first draft of emails, letters, memos or other written materials

  • Outline presentations

  • Gain perspective on any topic from a variety of “personas” or perspectives

  • Translate or draft text in other languages

Cautions

  • Check with your IT, legal or executive departments before using any chatbot on a pool or employer computer.

  • Never share pool or employer data or information on a public site, including as a data upload, file upload or in the details of any query.

  • This information is provided for your independent consideration. We’re not endorsing or suggesting any chatbot use.
