AI Resources for Pools

Exclusive Access to AI Learning

Exclusive for AGRiP members, you can  purchase on-demand AI learning on topics like prompt engineering, AI agents, AI in marketing and member communications, data and AI, and more. Most pools will pay about $2,000 to enroll everyone on staff for a full year of course access.

Courses help all pooling staff learn how AI can be used to support the member-focused work of pools. You can enroll individually or receive greatly reduced pricing for teams.

What is AI?

AI simulates human intelligence in machines, impacting virtually all jobs and how work is performed. AI is not a single software, tool or “thing.” It combines deep data resources, advanced computing power, and robust connectivity.

Why is AI important for pooling?

AI offers benefits such as improved risk management, enhanced underwriting and claims processes, better member services, and increased operational efficiencies. Staying current with AI advancements helps our community better serve public entity members and reduce loss and operational costs.

New to AI?

You’ve probably heard about the increasing availability of AI chatbots. Chatbots aren’t the only AI tool that might be useful to explore, but are an ideal starting point for those interested in learning more.

You can begin incorporating AI chatbots into your daily work life to:

  • Proofread, paraphrase and summarize large amounts of information from within documents

  • Compose a first draft of emails, letters, memos or other written materials

  • Outline presentations

  • Gain perspective on any topic from a variety of “personas” or perspectives

  • Translate or draft text in other languages

Cautions

  • Check with your IT, legal or executive departments before using any chatbot on a pool or employer computer.

  • Never share pool or employer data or information on a public site, including as a data upload, file upload or in the details of any query.

  • This information is provided for your independent consideration. We’re not endorsing or suggesting any chatbot use.
