The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has an opening for an experienced Department Director, Regulatory Compliance and Medical Benefits, assigned to its Workers' Compensation department. The Department Director will provide daily direction to the managers or workers' compensation regulatory compliance including EDI, medical bill review and utilization review.
The ideal candidate will have experience in long range planning; knowledge of Texas Department of Insurance rules, Texas Labor Statute and best claims practices; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree of equivalent work experience, a minimum of five years' experience in Texas Workers' Compensation, a minimum of five years' experience in supervision or management, and an O3 or multi-line license.
