Details:

The Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRiP)
has an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who wants to share the story of government risk pools. As AGRiP’s Communications Specialist, you’ll write and edit content to support all AGRiP activities and members, using an array of content outlets and formats.

The Communications Specialist will draft content about AGRiP conferences, projects, and membership; our members’ activities; industry events and other notable developments. By developing content for AGRiP’s website, newsletters, social media outlets, direct email outreach, and other publications or distribution vehicles, you will directly support AGRiP’s overall brand and messaging.

The Communications Specialist role is ideal for someone who has been working in public entity pooling for two or more years and is ready to expand their communications breadth and influence. The role would also be a good fit for someone who is more experienced and wants to focus on communications to inspire the industry. To be effective in this role you’ll need to be an experienced writer using a variety of communications tools and outlets, and able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

AGRiP values critical-thinking, innovative ideas, quick learners, people who challenge status-quo mentality, the ability to work collaboratively and iteratively, and effective communicators. We have an energetic, creative team that has developed tremendous affinity with 220 member pools and over 100 industry partners in North America and Australia.

This position is open until filled. To learn more about the AGRiP Communications Specialist role, contact Executive Director Ann Gergen.
