Mylander elected to AGRiP Board of Directors

 

Kirk Mylander of Oregon Public Entity Excess Pool (OPEEP) has been elected to serve a four-year term on the AGRiP Board of Directors. He will begin his term Jan. 1, 2018.

Mylander was instrumental in the creation of OPEEP, and now serves on its Board of Directors. He is also General Counsel for CIS (Citycounty Insurance Services) in Oregon. He is an established author and speaker, specializing in employment litigation and preservation of tort caps. He is a member of AGRiP's General Counsel Peer Forum and Membership Practices Committee.

Mylander received his Bachelor of Arts degree from George Fox University, master's degree from Yale University, and law degree from the University of California at Davis. He has 12 years of pooling experience, four of which are in his current position.
