The Forum is organized by specific pool operational tracks, with content and information most appropriate for department heads, managers, and top executives. Tracked sessions will explore hot topics and advanced operational needs in three primary areas:
• Claims & Litigation
• Marketing & Member Services
• Reinsurance & Capital Management
At this year’s Forum, attendees will also learn about “weak signals” that can be identified in the current public entity pooling environment – including weak signals in the three specific tracked areas. Weak signals provide valuable clues about how to prepare for the future of pooling operations, but you have to be listening carefully for them and you have to know when to tune in and when to tune out. Each session at the Forum will help you identify weak signals that could be important, tune the dial so you can more effectively listen to the weak signal message, and explore how to turn a weak signal into a pooling strength.
As always, AGRiP offers a pooling basics curriculum that will run as a fourth track for part of the event.
Other Conferences: In addition to the Fall Educational Forum, AGRiP holds two other annual events. The CEO and Senior Staff Institute is held annually in August and is offered exclusively to those in executive leadership roles with member pools. The Governance & Leadership Conference focuses on governance education for pool boards and staff. There is also content around pool operations and leadership education for pool staff. This conference is held annually in March.
AGRiP also develops and sponsors pool-specific content at annual events hosted by PRIMA and CAJPA.
