The CEO and Senior Staff Institute is an exclusive learning and leadership development opportunity, limited for attendance by those in executive roles at AGRiP member pools. It’s a unique time for pool executives to meet in a small setting to focus on their leadership mindset, skills, and goals.
The 2017 CEO and Senior Staff Institute, Lead With Why, is Aug. 6-9 at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, S.C. Attendance is limited to 150.
Lead With Why has been specially designed for leaders to address a few important questions that affect a pool’s culture and operations:
- Why do you lead a public entity pool – what are the reasons you are where you are, and how does it influence how you lead?
- How can you “lead with why” to be more effective and impactful when you tell your pool’s story to members, stakeholders, regulators, or others?
Through guided peer-to-peer interactions, leaders will reflect on their individual reasons for contributing to the public entity pooling environment and learn how their personal purpose serves to influence everything that happens in their pool. This learning experience is replicable, so pool leaders can help their staff and Board of Directors through a similar exploration. Attendees will also focus on how to speak like a leader by telling stories that will capture the spirit of public entity pooling and resonate among all stakeholders.
Lead With Why workbooks and discovery tools will be provided to attendees, along with wrap-around conference content designed to enhance the entire learning experience.
The CEO and Senior Staff Institute is a conversational and participatory learning environment, involving collaboration and sharing of ideas among pooling peers. No matter what your experience level in pooling or as a leader within your organization, this event is a great opportunity to focus on your leadership goals, learn from others, and explore new ways to improve your pool’s operations.
